SNOPSIS:
Zhong Kui ( played by Xing Zhaolin ) hated evil and was a martyr before his death. The Jade Emperor felt that Zhong Kui was awe-inspiring and righteous, and wanted to be named the Heavenly Master of Demons. After some intense debate, Guanyin Bodhisattva proposed to let Zhong Kui go down to earth to practice as an assessment, and then decide whether to confer a god.
