Teabing’s original ‘The King of Pigs’ is a thriller drama that tells the story of those who bring out ‘memories of violence’ due to a mysterious serial murder that started with a message from a friend 20 years ago.
In particular, the original work of ‘The King of Pigs’, which contains the origins of violence in our society, including school violence, through characters with a tragic fate, is a feature-length animation directed by Yeon Sang-ho of the same name and has already been recognized for its workability through numerous film festivals, including the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. I’ve received it, so I’m paying attention. Among these, the lineup built with Kim Dong-wook, Kim Seong-gyu, and Chae Jung-an is raising expectations for the drama even more.
Kim Dong-wook takes on the role of Hwang Kyung-min, who lives without forgetting the memories of school violence 20 years ago. The character Hwang Kyung-min is enjoying a happy life with his beloved wife, and an unexpected incident brings him back to the trauma of 20 years ago. I am already curious about the character Hwang Kyung-min that will be drawn by Kim Dong-wook, who has been well-received in every work he appears with his delicate emotional description and charming voice.
