Addicational Information:
KBS2 Monday-Tuesday drama , which is being aired as a follow-up to 《Yeonmo 》 from December 20, 2021 . It is a fusion historical drama brought to the background of the late Joseon Dynasty, when strict prohibition was imposed , containing the story of four youths who ‘cross the line’, growing up as they grow up in the age of prohibition.
From the moment we come out into the world and weep for the first time,
we learn and learn various taboos, big and small.
“You should hold the chopsticks with your right hand.”
“Men don’t show tears recklessly.”
“Don’t shake your legs.” “What is this sissy room?”
“Didn’t I tell you not to get involved in talking to adults?”
Some things are so accustomed to
being invisible that we cannot even feel them with our skin.
As if it were a part of us.
But the moment we throw it away, the world changes terribly.
Pointing fingers, cursing, and laughing.
Only then will we be able to see for the first time.
A bridle called taboo that is fastened to our ankles.
In the 18th century, fictional Joseon, an era in which even questioning what was forbidden was not permitted.
It is a story of young men and women who become entangled like fate in the era of severe prohibition, disobeying the
world’s expectations, doing things the world does not want, and
tearing down the existing solid world.
But let’s not be too afraid.
They will be broken, frustrated and weeping, but at the
same time they will grow up in love and friendship. I hope you will feel liberated together through the delightful and dangerous rebellion of young people who rebel
against the forbidden world and jump into a completely unfamiliar world .
