SNOPSIS:

As “the deputy general of the world, Mito Komon”, everyone knows the success of Tokugawa Mitsukuni in his youth! In this drama, Tokugawa Mitsukuni leads a group of boys and girls with talented talents, “The Pickers,” and hunts down the igniter who caused the “Great Fire of the Meiji Era,” one of the largest fires in Japan. This is the Tokugawa period version of “Kogoro Akechi and the Boy Detectives”. The original is “Kenjusho” by popular writer Tow Ubukata. It’s an exciting swashbuckler full of flashy sword fights! [Story] Young Tokugawa Mitsukuni (Koji Yamamoto) meets an orphan, Ryosuke (Kurokawa Soya), who is not inn, and is surprised at the deadly sword method with his wooden sword and invites him to the covert organization “People”. “Pickups” are orphans with excellent abilities, who used their special abilities to carry out intelligence activities and help catch criminals. With the cooperation of the people who picked up Mitsukuni, Mitsukuni grasps that the leader of the fire gang that caused the “Great Fire of the Meiji Era” is Shigeaki Kato.
