It is the second season of Life as a Wise Doctor , which aired in the first half of 2020 and recorded the highest viewership rating among all tvN weekday dramas in the metropolitan area. It was planned by PD Shin Won- ho from the beginning as a season system, and when the existing staff and cast members signed a contract for the first time, a clause related to the season system was inserted so that the story and most of the actors did not change and it was continued with Season 1.
