Synopsis:

A story told from the perspective of low-income people that follows a man who has left the city to return to the small village and struggles to make something of himself.

Zhang Li Dong (Zhang Hao), who worked in the city, was fired from his job. Returning home, he discovers that his wife has run off with Wu Bing (Lan Bo), a man drowning in debt. To pay off her debts, Wu Bing’s wife, Wang Chun Hua (Xu Zi Han), is forced to give up her restaurant to Zhang Li Dong and work as a waitress. However, running a restaurant breeds its own problems. Zhang Li Dong relies on his sincerity and courage to overcome life’s challenges.
