Big Stage 2022 | Senarai Peserta, Juri Tetap dan Pengacara (TV Show)

The singing reality program, Big Stage 2022 is back for its fourth season which will feature 11 talents from the Budak-Budak Baru Nak Up (BBNU) generation representing three allied countries, namely Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia for eight weeks. Big Stage 2022 will be broadcast live from February 6, every Sunday, at 9 pm on Astro Ria and can also be streamed through the Astro GO application and On Demand service for more flexible options.

Participant

The five female stars who will be performing for this season are Aisha Retno, Elica Paujin, Lia Aziz, Yazmin Aziz and Sofiaa Marieylla. Meanwhile, the six male stars are Megat Rahim, Ajoi Zainal, Danial Chuer, Tuah Adzmi, Syafiq Abdilah (Brunei) and Tegar Septian (Indonesia).

Fixed Jury

After a season break from judging duties, the country’s number one singer, Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza returned to join the jury panel with famous composer, Ajai as the permanent judge for the second time this season.

Lawyer

Alif Satar and Sherry Al Hadad are still entrusted to handle the main stage as lawyers. For Gempak TV, Isha Norsham was appointed host for the Big Stage Studio capsule program.

Meanwhile, ERA personalities, Muna Bella and Haiqal from Thinker Studios were paired as hosts for the Big Stage Live Plus program which will be broadcast simultaneously during the weekly concert on the digital platform.

Match Format

Big Stage 2022 still maintains the original format of the judging which is divided into two parts, based on scoring by a panel of judges and online fan voting.

For the first part, 100% of the results are determined by a panel of jurors who will judge the stars based on criteria set during the weekly performance.

The three stars who get the lowest marks will go through the judging process for the second part which is determined based on fan votes online through the official website at www.gempak.com/bigstage as well as through the SYOK application. The star with the lowest number of votes will be eliminated.

In order to inject fresh innovation to be more transparent, for the first time the scoring process by the jury panel will be done live or ‘live marking’ where each scoring will be displayed on the LED screen for public viewing.

Present

The Big Stage 2022 winner will take home RM100,000 in cash along with a trophy donated by Astro. While the second and third place winners will win RM50 thousand and RM25 thousand along with a trophy. For the fourth, fifth and sixth place winners will also not go home empty handed which will each bring home RM15 thousand, RM10 thousand and RM5 thousand along with a trophy.
