Teabing’s original ‘Ant is Riding’ (directed by Choi Ji-young, written by Lim Yeon-soo, provided by TVING, planned Studio Dragon, produced next scene) is a story about five ants jumping into the stock market with various stories and participating in a mysterious stock meeting. It is a human comedy about the rise and fall of stocks, in which one learns about life, friendship, and love through stocks.
2020 and 2021 were truly the years of Donghak Ants. While passionate interest in stocks was burning hotter than ever, ‘Ants Are Riding’ reflected the current situation and heralded the birth of a drama that empathizes with the times. In particular, it deals with the realistic stock story of small citizens unfolding right next to each other in real-time, rather than a stock war in the business world.
Han Ji-eun, who showed off her plump charm in each work, plays the role of Yu Mi-seo, a pro loser who experiences failure in stock investment from a happy bride-to-be before her wedding. Han Ji-eun’s acting, which will draw the tumultuous biography of the stock newborn Yu Mi-seo, raises expectations.
In addition, PD Choi Ji-young, who co-directed the dramas ‘What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim’ and ‘Monster’, is planning to capture the struggles of funny ants in a pleasant and insightful way.
